There's something very comforting to know that there are strangers all over the country with the same secret thoughts. Have any of you ever mailed in a secret?

I mailed one, once. Made it on the website too. It's kinda a liberating experience.
I save all the secrets every week that could be mine...there's a whole folder on my computer that reminds me that even though I'm fucked up...I'm not alone.
Ohmygosh yes! When I read those, I almost got a little teary. I love post secret, I have all the books! I mailed in a secret about a year ago, I haven't seen it come up yet, but I check every week!
I have. I love Post Secret. I heard him speak (he's local) and it was pretty amazing. Mosty it was inspirational to see how much he truly treasures those secrets so I decided to suck it up and go for it. While my secret never made it to the site it felt like I had unburdened myself. You should definitely go for it if you're comtemplating it.
I did. Four seperate postcards (as weird as that makes me sound).
Though I can't say I shared the same 'liberating' feeling as the others did. The first two were pretty light-hearted and amusing. But the latter two were on the serious side. And I didn't feel any better about sending them in.
But you're right, sometimes it's nice to see that we're not all that different in the end. I've seen a few that I could relate to, and I think that's where I got my 'liberating' feeling from.

I actually thought of both of those... and they're both true for me and him as well. My answer to the second one is still no though.
I've posted a secret before, it made the website too.
I remember seeing that second one. It really got to me, also.

I've never mailed on in, but I do absolutely love reading them every Sunday morning. I get the same feeling reading them as I do being on the "inside" of an inside joke.
But the real reason I'm commenting is to pressure a return of the blog! More posts please! I miss you!
i really really like those! they kinda remind me of the troubles i'm having with my newly ex boyfriend. and the fact that he kissed me again last night, and i know i still love him, and i was the one who broke up with him, so he tells me often that he still loves me, and i'm starting to have second thoughts, but there's no way i could ever go back to him. see what i'm saying?
